A cookie is a small text file that a website asks your browser to store. This page says which ones we use, what they do, and how to get rid of them.
1. Cookies on this website
Security: Cloudflare, which forms part of our hosting setup, uses the __cf_bm cookie to assess whether requests come from automated programs and to protect the website against abuse. According to Cloudflare, the cookie expires after 30 minutes of inactivity. We do not use it for marketing or visitor statistics.
Country selection on the test version: A separate cookie remembers the country you select so that you receive the selected content. On easyfreelance.no and easyfreelance.se, the domain determines the country, and this country-selection cookie is not used.
2. When we ask for consent
We ask for consent before using cookies or other technology that requires it. Technology that is strictly necessary to provide the service you explicitly request is used without consent. We use the security cookie and the country-selection cookie for these necessary functions.
3. Visitor statistics
We use Simple Analytics to compile visitor statistics. The service does not use cookies. You can read more about the information the service uses in the Simple Analytics documentation.
4. If you block cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser. This may cause your country selection on the test version to be forgotten and may affect security checks or other features.
5. Changes
We update this information when our use changes. Before introducing technology that requires consent, we obtain that consent. This also applies to technology from hosting providers and other suppliers. If we discover discrepancies, we investigate and correct them and stop any use that requires consent but lacks valid consent.
