How it works
No sole proprietorship, no accountant, no deadlines to keep track of. You do the work, we do the rest.
1
You agree the price and the scope directly with the client. We become your formal employer for that particular assignment – and you are insured from the first hour.
2
Enter the amount and the client in the app. We send the invoice in our name, with the correct VAT, and follow up on payment if it is late.
3
As soon as the client has paid, we run payroll within 24 hours. Tax and employer's national insurance contributions are already handled and reported to the Norwegian Tax Administration.
Why EasyFreelance
It matters to us that you can send an invoice quickly and easily, so that you can focus on your business and what you do best. EasyFreelance takes care of all the complicated parts: bookkeeping, VAT, accounts and debt collection.
Occupational injury insurance and liability insurance come with every single assignment. You do not need to take out anything yourself.
We run payroll every working day. If the invoice is paid today, the money is in your account tomorrow – at no extra cost.
Equipment, travel and materials linked to the assignment can be deducted before tax. Upload the receipt in the app and we will sort out the rest.
If the client does not pay on time, we are the ones who chase it up. You avoid the awkward conversations about money with your client.
Email and a help centre – with people who know freelance life, not just the system. We reply within one working day.
No admin or reporting of taxes and duties to the state.
Who it is for
You have the clients, but no appetite for accounting software and VAT returns. Send the invoice through us and your pay arrives with the tax already deducted – so your portfolio gets all of your attention.
Compare
Deciding to start a business of your own can be easy, but choosing which type of company to set up suddenly makes it harder. The differences between the various forms can look small, but a great deal separates them, especially when it comes to risk and finances.
The 30 000 kr share capital applies to limited companies. A sole proprietorship is cheaper to start, but gives you neither sickness benefit from day 17 nor insurance unless you arrange it yourself.

Questions and answers
No. You set up an account with us, and we become your employer for the assignment. You need neither an organisation number, a sole proprietorship nor an accountant.
4.9% of the invoice amount, and you only pay once the client has paid. Everything else – insurance, invoicing tools, tax handling, support and payouts – is included in that rate.
We run payroll every working day. If the invoice is paid before 12 noon, the money is normally in your account the next working day – within 24 hours of us receiving the payment.
We fetch your tax deduction card electronically from the Norwegian Tax Administration and deduct accordingly. If you have not submitted a tax deduction card, we deduct 50% as the law requires, and you get it back at the tax settlement.
Then we are the ones who follow up with reminders and, if necessary, debt collection. You should not have to spend time and goodwill collecting money from your client.
Yes. We send invoices in several currencies and handle the VAT rules for cross-border assignments. Your pay is paid out in Norwegian kroner to a Norwegian account.
Yes, and it is one of the most common ways to use us. You can invoice one assignment a year or ten a month – there is no minimum and no fixed costs.
It takes three minutes to get started. You pay nothing until you send your first invoice – and nothing until the client has paid it.
